HELP PLEASE!!

Hi everyone, im new to all tis and im hoping yous could help me. Im trying to get into rock climbing want to learn as much as possiable. Ive recently started going to tollymore climbing wall. and im looking to learn how to climb outdoors. tollymore is running a climbing course in june, but id like to get started asap. Im from newry and walk around the mournes most weekends, i can get my own gear. has anyone any advice, id even be happy just to watch to get started get in touch !!!!!!!!!!!

1. If you meet people through tollymore, suss out which of them go climbing outdoors and if you can tag along
2. If you are walking , why not throw you harness and boots into the bag. If you are looking for climbers, good bets would be to go n the annalong valley towards lower cove or the trassy track towards Slive Barnagh slabs.
3 you are more likely to make contacts if you are comfortable lead belaying and/or have a good range of food to share around between climbs

hello there,
myself and a few of my friends head out whenever we can in the mournes.
you are more than welcome to join us anytime you like, however we are not great so if you want to learn with use your more than welcome haha.

Hey Allyc, i'm in the same boat as you. I'm from Newry as well and looking to get back into climbing, after being out of it since I finished uni last year. Have you had any luck getting started climbing outdoors? If you have picked up any advice could you let me know?
